Curiosity is an important ingredient for the development of a team that seeks to manage change, create and develop a culture of innovation.
We can see that we know people who are regularly with attitudes of exploration but are not intellectually curious. It means that it prevails an operating and contemplative observation without the intention of aggregate and integrate knowledge.
On the other hand we see people who constantly seek the meaning of things, but fear risking their exploration of the unknown. The risk factor has an important weight.
The leader of this trait possessor easily infects your group. Coupled with an attitude of constant observation curiosity allows registration of the critical aspects related to current projects.

"Understanding the personality of your horse, along with knowledge about their own temperament and skill level , give us a better chance of success our daily walks. We try to pair with a horse whose natural behavior patterns allow us to stay within our own comfort zones natural as much as possible. "
...
"The horse is very social and interactive animal in the world around him. Horses units are the official greeters of the horse world.
The frightened horse is much more reserved and conservative than its counterpart social, especially when young.
...
The skittish horse is not particularly interactive. Dressed in his little world, often seems to be independent of people and horses.
...
The horse challenger has a strong sense of itself and can seem arrogant or proud, especially when young and still full. Usually guarded and territorial about their personal space, is also often conflicting coma aid or any other form of stimulus."
Any challenge to a higher-level leader is transformed into play when the whole team knows the environment where they unfold their activities.
The self- control and resilience (resilience to shocks) is a key to face obstacles and differences. Team members should be prepared for challenges. A high level of motivation is a lever to move on.
To listen and communicate with each other are two sides of same coin that the leader and his staff should use in the exchange of knowledge and experience. It is with a collaborative attitude that ideas develop and materialize. Today with the ease and availability of communication tools there is no way to know the “drawer" and collaboration enriches the work and leads to surprising results.
The ability of the environment has in shaping our attitudes are often responsible for the direction or focus of our curiosity.
Hence the frequent indecision if I'm developing my exploratory curiosity or if I'm thirsty for knowledge and thus develop my intellectual curiosity.
I totally agree with you on the part that intellectually curious is missing and as I mentioned in http://einsteindiva.blogspot.com/2010/07/if-youre-not-imaginative-then-your.html, is that Organizations in developed countries need to recover something they previously had, and that developing countries possess…. Curiosity!
